Kronic Coffee

A new earth friendly cafe' will open it's doors on James Island January 24th, 2008. Kronic Coffee , located at 827 Folly Road, is the forerunner of what businesses will practice in the future. Working with Green Team of Charleston, the cafe' has managed to start the trend of having all biodegradable paper and plastic products. We wanted to provide a cool hang out and study place, an alternative to the big coffee places and other eateries! Besides having award-winning fair trade, USDA organic coffee, espresso, smoothies, Italian sodas, and loose leaf teas, the cafe' features NY bagels, quiche, morning pastries and specialty drinks. The lunch and dinner board has many wraps, sandwiches, soups and salads. The counters are lined with countless array of sweets from cakes and biscotti to cookies, brownies and candy. Come and enjoy live entertainment on the wekends and outdoor seating for spring. Free homebaked "doggie" biscuits available daily for our four-legged pals. The couches and lounge chairs will quickly fill, but there are enough tables and chairs to suit any needs. Also the cafe' provides free wireless internet and parking. So plan to drop by to enjoy great food and drink while reading a book, surfing the net, daydreaming or just gazing at the art provided by local artists Coleen Wiseman.
